2007 BMW X5 DVD Entertainment System
The MSRP for the 2007 X5 DVD Entertainment System is $1,800 which includes the collapsible LCD screen and remote controller (shown above) and two wireless headphones. The X5 entertainment system screen faces the passengers in the rear seat and accepts DVD, CD and auxiliary inputs. The auxiliary input can be used to play moves from a third party device that has RCA jacks for sound and video. The DVD System wireless headphones are battery operated so you will need to make sure you turn them off after each use. The BMW wireless headphones are comfortable; there are a bit smaller than traditional over the ear headphones. The BMW wireless headphone compare in size to the Bose QC3 noise canceling headphones. In the photo above, you can see that the BMW DVD Entertainment System can also play music CD's. This gives the rear passengers the ability to listen to their own music while the driver plays music on the front speaker system. The 2007 BMW X5 DVD Entertainment system can also play photo CD's but I'm note sure I know of a person who would want to look at a slideshow of a family reunion in the car. The system's wireless remote control easily navigates the menu system. If you lose the remote control the system becomes unmanageable so make sure you tuck it away in the rear seat pockets when you leave the car.
